I only can go on 5 rides, which should I go on?
Don’t have enough time to wait in all the lines, or are you just doing a half day? I get it, sometimes we just need to do our favorite rides, grab a churro, and call it a day! But what happens when you don’t even know which five ways to go on? If you’re basing it on wait times or vibes, I totally get you! Wanna leave it up to me? Grab your passport (oh, or uhm your magic key) and my hand!

Ride #1: Pirates of the Caribbean is one of those classic rides; in fact, it is! New Orleans was part of Disneyland’s expansion, opening up in 1967, making it the last attraction Walt Disney oversaw himself. The ride is one of the most immersive in Disneyland and in any theme park! And of course, every day calls for that sweet water smell! Plus, it’s pretty much an all-purpose ride - tired, just starting out your day, cold outside, too hot outside? This once will never fail you!

Ride #2: After you see Jack Sparrow, you might need to go on a high-speed adventure with Indiana Jones on Indiana Jones Adventure! This long line trailing out of this ride isn’t just for no reason, this attraction provides thrilling drops, sharp turns, and fast-paced jolts past snakes…..why’d it have to be snakes? Oh, and you might have to use your fast thinking to dodge a tumbling boulder. This attraction is sure to provide you with adrenaline and laughs for the rest of your Disney day!

Ride #3: After back-to-back adventures, you might need a relaxing visit with 999 souls. Hop in your Doom Buggy for a visit with your ghost hostess with the mostest or Sandy Claws if you’re visiting during Christmas time! Haunted Mansion, in my opinion is the best ride between two rides where you need that middle breather but aren’t quite ready to hit it’s a small world….yet! And of course who doesn’t want to take a quick break to say hello to Constance Hatchaway?
Ride #4: No park day can be a proper park day if Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance isn’t on the Itinerary. There is nothing like this attraction from the wait queue, animatronics, to the massive AT-AT Walkers. This ride very literally takes you to unlike any other place in the galaxy and anywhere else in the parks. You don’t have to be a big Star Wars fan to enjoy or have your breath taken away by this attraction.

Ride #5: It’s your last ride of the day, and you’re almost ready to grab 5 churros and then head home, before you come to the parks again, of course. So what is going to be the last adventure you’ll go on? You’re going to join Alice and the Mad Hatter for tea at the Mad Tea Party! This has been my final ride on my last few visits to the park, and it honestly just brings the whole day together. There’s no better way to spend your last few minutes under paper lanterns and getting swept up in the hustling and bustling tunes!
Does this seem like the perfect park day for you? If not, what rides would you switch out? Let me know in the comments below! And remember, not all attractions will be up and running on the day of your visit. The Midnight Monorail is not responsible for rides that are down. And, some rides may not be suitable for all friends in your party, so please take that into consideration before boarding any of these attractions!
