Let’s Go Resort Hopping - All Star Resorts ⭐️

There are 25+ resorts on Walt Disney World property, which can make it hard to choose which Resort to stay at when you go to Disney World! Sometimes we have to go with the most budget-friendly option, but the good news is you can still take a walk around each Disney World resort even if you aren’t staying there!

Depending on the resort, you can even partake in certain activities! You might even clear your schedule to have one full day of Resort Hopping because there’s just that much to see and do!

All Stars are going to be your value resorts, and while they don’t have many activities to offer, they do have some! Non-resort guests don’t have access to gated areas such as swimming pools.

All-Star Movies Resort 🎞️

All-Star Movies Resort hosts nightly Movies Under the Stars at The Reel Spot, near the World Premiere Food Court. This is usually open to all guests, even if you aren’t staying on property or just making a day of checking out the resorts.

Screenings are free and weather permitting, held nightly typically around 8:30-9pm. If there is inclement weather, movies will be shown in the Cinema Hall Lobby. Movies are subject to change, but might include: Wish, Mufasa: The Lion King, Teen Beach Movie, and Moana 2.

Wellness Scavenger Hunt is another great option that is free to everyone! Go to the front desk or the main gift shop at any participating Disney Resort (each All-Star Resort) and ask for a scavenger hunt map. You will search around the resort to uncover challenges and items. Once you complete the hunt, turn your map into a Cast Member at the front desk and claim a prize (a special pin or sticker). This fun challenge takes place daily from 7:00 am-11:00 pm.

Something similar that takes place at each Disney Resort is the Find a Friend challenge. Guests are tasked with finding the Goofy photo prop, taking a picture, and then showing the Cast Member at the front desk to receive a prize. This activity takes place daily from 8:00 am-9:00 pm.

Enjoy some games at the Reel Fun Arcade located in the Cinema Hall, near the food court. This option does require payment, and the price can vary anywhere from $5-$50 based on how many points you want to load the card with to play games. The Arcade is open daily from 10 am to 12 am each day. The arcade even hosts an arcade tournament daily from 4:00-5:00 pm.

Held at the Fantasia Pool Deck (between buildings 5 and 6), enjoy the Sorcerer’s Campfire, where you can roast complimentary marshmallows around a campfire. S’mores are available to purchase every night at the campfire.

Photo Opportunities are BIG at All Star Movies Resort, featuring a 30-foot-tall Woody accompanied by a 47-foot-tall Buzz Lightyear! You might spot some larger than life Dalmation Puppies watching over the buildings. You can even jog past Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat and broomsticks on the All-Star Movies Jogging Trail.

All-Stars Music Resort 🎶

All-Star Music is similar to All-Star Movies in terms of things for non-resort guests to take part in. This resort also offers the Wellness Scavenger Hunt, Find a Friend, Note’able Games Arcade, and campfire fun at Calypso Campfire nightly from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Design Your Own Mosaic takes place on Saturdays at 1:00 pm at the Intermission Food Court. This is for friends ages 12 and up. Disney asks guests to please arrive 15 minutes before the class start time to register, as space is limited. Cost: $30

All-Stars Sports Resort 🏈

All-Star Sports is similar to its sister hotels above, meaning that it includes the Wellness Scavenger Hunt, Find a Friend, Arcade Access, and Arcade Tournament at Game Point Arcade, and Marshmallow Roasting at Touchdown! Campfire.

This resort does offer a Kids Art Corner located at End Zone Food Court, held daily from 6:30 am-11:00 pm.

Mickey Tie-Dye is held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 3:30-4:30 pm near Touchdown Buildings. This activity does cast $17 for a purchase of a t-shirt, but everything else is complimentary!
